Spider’s back for Blues

Ryan CharlesBlues have been boosted by the news that midfielder Ryan Charles will return to the club for the 2019/20 season.
CA RyanCharlesgoalThe 23-year-old arrived at the ProKit UK Stadium from Canvey Island last summer and made an immediate impact with eight goals in 31 league games as well as another three strikes in nine cup matches.
Joint boss Steve Smith is delighted with the news: ” I’m really pleases Spider is returning he has sorted his off-pitch stuff out” he said.
“He is in a good place and he will be a big player for us this season.”
The skilful wide-man capable of scoring spectacular goals from distance. Nicknamed ‘Spider’ – Charles had bagged 10 goals for the Gulls in 2017/1 including the winner in the Play Off Semi-Final against Bowers & Pitsea.
Charles’ previous clubs include Ipswich Town, Needham Market, Witham Town and Stanway Rovers. His Blues debut was as a substitute against Hitchin Town in a Herts County Charity Cup tie in August and he netted his first Blues goal in the 3-1 home victory over Carshalton Athletic in September.
