Blues’ new caretaker management team of Steve Smith and Jamie Cureton’s first signing was to bring Leyton Orient striker Ruel Sotiriou in on a 28-day loan.
The youngster made his debut for Stortford in a Velocity Trophy first round tie at Herford Town when he scored the second goal in a 2-1 success.
Originally signed by the O’s in July 2015, as a second-year scholar Sotirou Ruel was handed his first team debut in an FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie against Dagenham & Redbridge on 14th October 2017.
The striker then made his league debut coming on as a substitute a week later in a fixture against Macclesfield Town. In May this year he signed his first professional contract penning a two-year deal.
Towards the end of last season he had spells on loan at Leatherhead and Heybridge Swifts scoring on his debut with the former club in February.
