Smith praises Worman

steve-smithBlues’ joint manager Steve Smith had praise for youngster Ben Worman after his brace helped Stortford to a 2-0 home win against Haringey Borough, on Saturday.
“I’ve got to give a special mention to Ben Worman” said Smith “He come on loan to us from Cambridge United and he has been a credit to his club and himself in the way he conducts himself week in, week out. I’m sure he got a good future in the game.”
Smith was clearly delighted with the victory against second placed Haringey: “I’m really pleased with the performance against Haringey” he said.
“I thought we was at it right from the start. Borough are flying, so it’s a good result for us. I said to the boys before the game got eight games left and we got to believe we can win all of them.”
Smith did have one piece of bad news for Blues’ fans, though. “I would like to thank Ryan Charles who we have parted company with us” said Smith. “He had issues away from club and could not commit to the training but we wish him all the best wherever he goes.”
