Smith pleased with victory
He may be thousands of miles away on a holiday booked months before he took charge of Blues alongside Jamie Cureton, but joint boss Steve Smith was delighted with Tuesday’s 2-1 win against Enfield Town.
“It was another massive three points for us and keeps the good run going” he said.
“It’s great to see Ben [Worman] get another goal for us. He has been fantastic since I got him in from Cambridge United, but over all Jamie [Cureton] tells me it’s another solid performance.
“Spider [Ryan Charles] took a knock, so we have to see how he is on Saturday, but hopefully he will be fit for the game at Leatherhead and we can go there full of confidence, looking to get a result.
“It was great to have a good crowd last night, so thanks – as always – for your support.”
