Smith looking for support on Saturday

As his side prepare for a key home game against Worthing on Saturday, Blues’ joint boss Steve Smith is hoping for a big turn out from the club’s fans
“With only four games to go we’re hanging in there and still have a chance of the play-offs, so I’m hoping for a lot of support on Saturday” he said.
Smith’s side snatched a fourth straight win as an 88th minute goal from Jamie Cureton saw them beat Margate 2-1, on Saturday ,and the Blues’ manager had praise for his team:
“I’m so pleased for boys” he said. “It was a massive three points, I was hard on them at times as performance-wise it wasn’t great but we got the result.
“It was a great finish from Curo and it was good to see Luke [Callander] win the header for the goal as he gets a lot of stick.”
One piece of bad news for Blues is that young strike Olly Miles is out for the season: “Olly took a real whack and has broken his cheekbone in two places” said Smith.
“It’s a real shame ffor him and we wish him a speedy recovery. We’ve got a lot of players playing with injuries, but we’re hanging in there and we want to keep it going until the end of the season.”
