Smith happy despite loss

Blues’ co-manager Steve Smith was pleased with how his side played despite a 1-0 loss at title favourites Dorking Wanderers, on Saturday.

“It was another great performance from the boys, going to a team top of the league who have scored 17 goals in their last three home games” he said.

“We set up really well and should have got something from the game but we made one mistake and got punished by a quality strike.”

“We pushed right to the end really proud of all the boys, now we move onto Potters Bar next Saturday where we hope to get three points.”
