Blues’ joint boss Steve Smith couldn’t hide his disappointment after his side went down to a 77th minute goal at leaders Folkestone Invicta on Saturday.
“I’m gutted about yesterday” he said “I thought we deserved a point out of the game, but we had one moment where we switched off and got punished for it.
“But we move onto Tuesday night now and hopefully make use of our game in hand. It’s a big week for us with the FA Cup next Saturday as well thanks for the support and hope we all got something to smile about this time next week.”
As Smith says, Blues now have two home games in four days, hosting Cray Wanderers in an Isthmian League game on Tuesday before Peterborough Sports are the visitors in the FA Cup on Saturday.
