Smith delighted with win

Blues joint boss Steve Smith was delighted after his side made it nine games unbeaten with a 3-0 victory against Corinthian-Casuals.
“I thought it was a great result today and takes our run to nine games unbeaten” he said.
“I thought we looked solid great to keep a clean sheet really pleased for nick brown who had a good debut and looks a good addition to the squad.”
Brown joined from joined from Heybridge Swifts having been at Leyton Orient at the same time as Johnville Renee. His other previous clubs include Farnborough, AFC Hornchurch and Cheshunt.
Another addition to the squad saw the return of Jake Cass as he was ineligible for Braintree Town’s cup tie at Boreham Wood, an Smith hopes his return may be permanent: “Cassy coming back was good for us, and hopefully we can get him back – he’s a great lad and good to have around the place.
“On Tuesday night we go to Potters Bar and we can be confident of getting something. Thanks to everyone for their support on Saturday.”
