Senior Cup game arranged

Blues’ Herts Senior Cup first round tie at Welwyn Garden City has been arranged for Tuesday October 16th, kick-off 7.45pm.

The Citizens are currently fifth in the Southern League Central Division with nine points from four games but went out of the FA Cup at the first hurdle with a 1-0 loss at Brantham Athletic.

They won promotion to the fourth tier of non-league football for the first last season, winning the Spartan South Midlands League as they hit a century of goals and points in 40 games.

The game is subject to City avoiding a reply in their FA Trophy Preliminary Round tie at Chertsey the previous Saturday.
