Sam signs up for next season

Blues’ management team Steve Smith and Jamie Cureton have wasted no time securing the services of central defender Sam Robbins for the next season.
08trerThe 25-year-old collected both the managers’ and players’ player-of-the-year awards on Saturday evenng, and has signed a one year contract with the Blues.
“Sam’s a big signing for us” said Smith “he’s been great for us this year, and a virtual ever present. It was important to get him signed up early otherwise the voltuers would come circling.”
Robbins joined the Blue Brazil from Waltham Abbey in the summer and the centre half provided some excellent leadership and only missed two league games, finishing with two goals in 49 games in all competitions.
