Saints in town on Saturday

pb1BLUES will aim to move up the Evo-Stik South table when they host St Ives on Saturday afternoon, kick-off 3pm.

In common with Blues, the Saints’ last outing saw a defeat at Chesham United, though Tuesday’s 4-0 loss was considerably more clear-cut than our 2-1 result last week, and they will arrive at the ProKit UK Stadium sitting two points two places and seven points behind Stortford in 22nd spot with 24 points from 30 games.

The Blue Brazil will be aiming for their second league double of the season as a goal from Darren Foxley (pictured) early in the second half gave them a 1-0 win when they travelled to Cambridgeshire in October.

Prior to Tuesday’s loss at Chesham, St Ives were unbeaten in five games, with the 11 points gained have seen them move clear of the bottom two.
