Promotion chasers in town on Saturday

Blues host promotion chasing Haringey Borough on Saturday as they look to avenge December’s loss against the North London club.
Luke Callander’s goal proved to be only a consolation as Blues went down a 3-1 defeat when the sides met earrlier in the season.
Borough won promotion through the Bostik North play-offs last season, and are looking a good bet for home advantage in the play-offs as they sit in second place with 61 points from 34 games.
Having reached the FA Cup fourth qualifying round last season they went one better this year as wins against Erith Town, AFC Sudbury and Poole Town took them into the first round proper where they bowed out on national TV with a 1-0 home loss against AFC Wimbledon. Their FA Trophy campaign wasn’t quite so successful as they went on penalties after a pair of draws against Chesham United.
The biggest club to play in White Hart Lane are back in the big time and will travel to the Blue Brazil for the first time since the 1964/65 season when we won promotion from the third tier of the Athenian League.
The north London side can trace their history back to 1907 when they were formed as Tufnell Park, and they joined the Isthmian League in 1920 when it was firmly established as the top amateur league in the south. They left the competition in 1952,and a couple of mergers followed. After winning the Essex Senior League in 2015 with an impressive 129 goals in 38 games, they returned to the Isthmian League.
