Perfect day for Blues

A brace from Jake Cass followed an early Ryan Charles strike gave Blues a fine 3-2 win at Bostik League leaders Tonbridge Angels, on Saturday.

It was a third straight victory for the Blue Brazil but they had to withstand a late comeback from the home side who netted twice in the final 20 minutes to set up a grandstand finish.

The result lifted Stortford up to tenth in the Bostik table, and they will look to continue their good run when they host Wingate & Finchley on Tuesday, kick-off 7.45pm.
