Official Statement – John Turner RIP

It is with great regret that Bishop’s Stortford Football Club advise of the death of Vice-Chairman John Turner on Thursday morning.

John had been associated with the club for many years and has held many varied roles throughout his association. John was also a Director of the Hertfordshire Football Association and a past Director of the Football Conference.

Known to everyone as JT, John’s love for our football club was evident through the massive amount of work he did for BSFC over the last two decades.

The Club pass on its thoughts and condolences to his wife Anne; Children Caroline and Richard and grandchildren Harriett, Hugo & Jake.

Rest in Peace, John, you will be truly missed.
