Blues’ 2017/18 squad


A former Tiptree United player who had his career cut short the age of 22. He went into management at Witham Town reserves four years later and was soon promoted to the First team as assistant manager under Danny Greaves. Adam left the club in 2010 and took over the Sunday club Priory Sports and had great success winning the Essex Premier Cup and reaching the last sixteen of the FA Sunday Cup. Adam was offered the Witham Town job late into the 2015/16 campaign with the club facing relegation but he steered them to safety in the space of nine games. Two mid-table finishes followed on one of the smallest budgets in the Isthmian Division One North and in his time there produced several quality young players before taking up the Blues’ managers job when offered to him in the summer.

JAMES ROBINSO Assistant Manager/Coach

James is the grandson of former Tottenham Hotspur and England legend, Jimmy Greaves. He began his coaching career at Witham Town under Adam Flint in 2016 after a prolific non-league career in which he netted over 200 goals in spells with Canvey Island, Heybridge Swifts, Billericay Town, Redbridge, Maldon & Tiptree and Witham Town. James also spent three years playing in Australia for Armadale SC where he became their all-time top-flight goalscorer and represented Western Australia twice. He is currently a Level 2 Coach and in the process of beginning his UEFA B licence.


38 year-old James, is UEFA A Licensed Coach. James began his venture into coaching back in 2006, a journey that has taken him to the USA & Bermuda back to Professional clubs here in UK where he has worked at Dagenham & Redbridge, Charlton Athletic and also he spent three years at West Ham United working in their academy. James is currently studying both FA Advanced Youth Award & BSc (hons) in Sport, Fitness & Coaching. He is very organised and methodical, and well respected by people he has previously worked with. James spent the end half of last season as first team coach at Hullbridge Sports in the Essex Senior League.


26 year-old Nathan has joined the Blues as a coach. Nathan has coached at Chelsea in their academy and more recently Chelmsford City under-18s as well as assisting with analysis for the first team. Nathan has also coached out in the USA several times.

JAMES GOOD Goalkeeping Coach

James is an experienced goalkeeper coach who has joined from Southend Manor in the Essex Senior League. James will work closely with the first team and Bostik Development league goalkeepers.


Colin has been the main therapist at the ProKit UK Stadium for many seasons and has not missed a first team competitive or non-competitive match is the last ten years.



Calum was signed by Stortford towards the end of February and made his debut in the home fixture against Frome Town. The Blues were Calum’s first senior club as he was in the Community club set-up before playing a number of matches for the reserve side in the Capital League in the 2010/11 season. He then joined Histon, in the National League South, and was with the Cambridge side for three seasons clocking up over 60 appearances. Calum then joined Hayes & Yeading also in the National South at the start of the 2014/15 term. In October 2014 Calum made his one appearance for the England C national side when he played in a 2-0 defeat by Turkey in Istanbul. In July 2015 he joined National League side Cheltenham Town and made his debut for them in a FA Trophy tie against Chelmsford City. After helping the Robins gain promotion into the EFL Calum signed a new one-year deal in June 2016 and made his Football League debut during an EFL Trophy tie against Blackpool. Whilst at Cheltenham he had a spell on loan at Worcester City. He left Cheltenham at the end of the 2016/17 term upon the expiry of his contract and signed for Welling United in November. Before joining Stortford he played a few games for Hoddesdon Town in the Spartan South Midland League. By the end of last season Calum had made 13 appearances for the Blues.


BOBBY MASON – Goalkeeper

Bobby signed this summer from Witham Town where he kept 12 clean sheets in 35 appearances last season, his steady performances saw him pick up the supporters’ player-of-the-year award despite only joining in October. 27-year-old Bobby was previously number one for Thurrock when they won promotion to the Bostik Premier two seasons ago, and has also spent time at Hullbridge Sports in the Essex Senior League.
