Harlow trip for Blues

cassBlues will open their 2019/20 pre-season campaign with a short trip to old rivals Harlow Town on Saturday.
The Hawks were relegated from the Bostik Premier a few weeks ago, finishing bottom of the table, nine points from safety with 34 points from 42 games, conceding 107 goals in the process. k6
Two of Harlow’s 26 league defeats came against the Blues as the sides met in league action for the first time since the 2001/2 season. Strikes from Olutoyosi Olusanya, Jake Cass and Alfie Mason gave Blues a 3-1 win at Harlow Arena on August Bank Holiday Monday in what proved to be the only victory of Adam Flint’s managerial reign, while Ryan Henshaw’s tenth minute effort was enough for Blues to take all three points on Boxing Day.
The Hawks made an early start to pre-season on Saturday, with a 5-0 home defeat against Leyton Orient.
