Flint ready for league opener

Blues’ boss Adam Flint knows what to expect when title favourites Dorking Wanderers visit the ProKit UK Stadium, on Saturday

“I’ve had them watched twice, and they’ve added to an already good squad with some big signings.

“They’ve added Jason Prior who was top scorer in Conference South last season, and this is definitely a team who are going for it. They will should be at least in the play-offs, and certainly could win it.

“Our first three games are all going to be difficult, Enfield  will b Bognor have just come down from Conference South, and I don”t think we could have had a tougher start.”

After seven straight pre-season losses, Flint remains positive: “We could have won all of our pre-season games, but it wouldn’t make any difference when the league starts.

“That’s one of the reasons that we’ve rested  players who have knocks, because we need everyone to be available for Saturday. We need to set up so that we are hard to beat, and go from there.”
