Farnborough trip for Blues

Blues will look to snap a two-game losing streak when they travel to Farnborough on Wednesday.

The game will see Jamie Cureton return to his former club having had three spells with before joining Blues at the start of 2018, and the 42-year-old striker has scored six goals in 14 appearances since the move.

Farnborough have been one of league’s more erratic sides, having beaten high-flying Kings Lynn and Hitchin Town, they have also lost against both of the bottom two who have only five wins between them.

Spencer Day’s side are one place above Blues in 18th with 47 points from 42 games, but Stortford are only two points behind them with two games in hand.

Their games have seen plenty of goals, 185 in 42 matches, and having conceded 108 only the bottom two gave been more porous.

Jordan Westcott’s late goal salvaged a deserved point for the Blues when the sides met at the ProKit (UK Stadium in November.

Jason Williams had levelled the score for the home side, but Borough looked to have grabbed all three points when they netted from a corner in the 90th minute before Westcott scored four minutes into injury time.
