Fame for Jamie!

He’s undoubtedly had all of this before, but Jamie Cureton will be on Anglia at 6pm this evening, with an interview and footage from his hat-trick on Saturday.

The Anglia cameras were at the game in the hope that he’d get a goal, and he didn’t disappoint as the treble in the 4-2 win against Whitehawk saw him notch his 350th career goal.

If you can’t get Anglia, the interview will also be uploaded to their website this evening, and they are also hopeful that it will be shown on ITV London.

The club were also a hit with reporter Andy Ward who wrote to the club thanking us for helping him on Saturday: “I  just wanted to say thank you for letting me film over the weekend. Everyone at the club was so welcoming and gave me brilliant access. It showed what a fantastic club you are!
“Jamie was a pleasure to deal with, and Steve Smith as well, so please pass on my thanks to both of them.
“I was originally planning to run it on Friday but with Jamie having now scored his 350th career goal, it will be on tonight.”
