Disappointment for young Blues

A good performance wasn’t enough to give Blues’ under-21s a point as they went down 2-1 against high-flying Redbridge reserves at the ProKit UK Stadium, on Saturday.

Harron Blaid struck for the home team in the first half, and playing at a high tempo, Blues dominated the game against an experienced visiting side, creating numerous chances and hitting the woodwork.

Matt Waldron’s side will look to bounce back on Monday evening when AFC Sudbury are the visitors to the ProKit UK Stadium, kick-off 7.45pm.
