Bognor opener for Blues

Blues will open their BetVictor Isthmian Premier campaign with a home games against Bognor Regis Town on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
The Blue Brazil took only one point from the south coast side last season with a 3-0 loss at Nywood Lane in August before a goalless draw in the return, but the Rocks still finished seven places below Stortford in 14th spot. Their FA Cup campaign lasted a round longer that Stortford’s, winning at Whitstable before losing a replay at AFC Sudbury, while in the FA Trophy they beat Bracknell Town on penalties after a replay before losing at Walton Casuals.
Bognor had a fractious end to their pre-season campaign as they had three players sent off in a 6-1 loss at Gosport Borough, on Friday.
Prior to that game the Rocks had had a mixed series of warm-up games, losing 3-1 against Havant & Waterlooville and 2-1 against Portsmouth before drawing 1-1 against Horndean and beating Chichester City 1-0.
