Blues return home

After three weeks away from home, Blues will look to put last week horror show at Kettering Town behind them when they host Frome Town on Saturday.

The Blue Brazil made their first trip to the wonderfully named Special Effect Stadium in early September and were unlucky to go down 2-1 despite Darren Foxley’s first half goal.

The Robins are one of eight sides chasing the final play-off spot, and will arrive at the ProKit (UK) Stadium in tenth place with 50 points from 32 games. They are eight points behind fifth placed Chesham but have three games in hand.

They reached the third qualifying round of the FA Cup with wins against Tavistock and Totton before losing at Heybridge Swifts, but went out of the FA Trophy at the first stage with a surprise loss at Shortwood United.

Victories against Paulton Rovers, Bristol Manor Farm and Taunton Town have seen them reach the league cup quarter final where they suffered a surprise home loss against Larkhall Athletic on Wednesday.
