Blues make first visit to Mertsham

Blues will look to continue their good form under Steve Smith and Jamie Cureton when they make a first ever trip to Mertsham in the Bostik League.
Stortford are unbeaten in six games after Adam Flint departed as boss, and have moved up to seventh in the league table – albeit having played more the most games in the Premier Division.
A goalless draw at high-flying Enfield Town saw the Moatsiders move up to 12th spot in the table with 12 points from nine games.
In common with Blues they made a quick exit from the FA Cup, drawing twice with Cray Valley PM before going out on penalties but progressed in the League Cup with a 4-2 win at Thamesmead Town.
After 116 years in local and county football, the Moatsiders joined the Isthmian League a decade ago and are now in their fourth season in the Premier Division.
A difficult 2017/18 campaign saw them slip down to 18th place, with crowds down to an average of 182. They suffered early exits in both FA competitions, losing to Tooting & Mitcham at the first stage of the Cup and Sittingbourne in the Trophy.
