 Leatherhead (Home | 25th September 2021

Bishop’s Stortford thrashed Leatherhead 7-0, bouncing back from being knocked out of the FA Cup in emphatic style, with Jake Cass making his second hattrick of the season, Archie Jones netting his first of the campaign, and Ben Marlow returning from months of injury lay-off and recovery following knee surgery tp make a goalscoring return with the seventh in second-half injury time. It’s the Blues’ biggest win since an 8-0 triumph at home to Canvey Island in the FA Trophy First Round in December 2007, and the biggest Isthmian League win since a 9-1 victory over Croydon in March 1994.

Enfield Town (Home | 16th November 2021)

Bishop’s Stortford beat second-placed Enfield Town 2-1 at home on a chilly Tuesday night, with Johnville Renee scoring a 96th minute winner in the Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division match. It extended the Blues’ unbeaten run in all competitions to nine matches, with all three goals coming after 80 minutes.

Cheshunt (Home | 1st January 2022)

Bishop’s Stortford began the new year in perfect fashion, beating nearby rivals Cheshunt 3-1 at home to move up to second in the Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division. The Blues had lost to the Ambers two weeks prior in the FA Trophy in a penalty shootout following a goalless draw, but were on the winning side this time around, ending a 16 match unbeaten streak for the visitors. It was Stortford’s first New Year’s Day win since 2013 with Ryan Charles, Ryan Henshaw and Chris Harris scoring for the Blues.

Brightlingsea Regent (Home | 15th January 2022)

Bishop’s Stortford completed their first league double of the season with a 5-0 drubbing at home to Brightlingsea Regent. After a 1-4 win in the reverse fixture, the Rs were condemned to a fourth straight defeat while the Blues bounced back from their loss last time out, which ended an unbeaten run of 14 league games.

Enfield Town (Away | 12th February 2022)

Bishop’s Stortford won a huge game in the race for the play-offs and comprehensively completed a league double over Enfield Town.. The Blues won 0-2 at Donkey Lane to go within a point of second-placed Town and level on goal difference in the Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division. Ryan Charles and Frankie Merrifield scored either side of the break to secure the three points.

Haringey Borough (Away | 15th February 2022)

A first half goal rush saw Bishop’s Stortford to a comfortable 0-6 win at Haringey Borough. Five of the goals came before the break, as the Blues made it a third consecutive win, scoring 11 goals in their previous three matches – all away from home – with three clean sheets. 

Merstham (Home | 12th March 2022)

Bishop’s Stortford returned to winning ways with a 6-0 thrashing of Merstham. After two goalless draws, the Blues picked up three points and a sixth consecutive clean sheet, extending the unbeaten run to 11 games. Frankie Merrifield scored a hat-trick, while Ollie Peters scored his first goal for the club, with Jonny Giles and an own goal adding the other two.

Worthing (Home | 15th March 2022)

Bishop’s Stortford consolidated their position in the Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division play-off places with a resounding 3-0 win over leaders Worthing in their top-of-the-table clash at the R&D Advisors UK Stadium.
