Joint Blues’ boss Steve Smith was a happy man after his side collected their second straight win with a 3-2 home victory against Cheshunt, on Saturday.
“I was really pleased with the result” he said. “I thought we played really well first half, and scored three great goals. “Curo’s [Jamie Cureton] finish for first goal was pure quality.
“In the second half we didn’t really get going, but we took the points and we move on.”
Smith was delighted to see Aaron Greene back in action after a pre-season injury as he joined the action as a second half substitute: “it was good to get Greeny back on the pitch, we’ve missed him. “We now have the FA Cup on Saturday and it would be great if we can win and have a cup run. We have got another lad coming in who will make us stronger. I’d like to thank everyone for their support on Saturday and hopefully we’ll take a big following to Dunstable on Saturday.”
