RIP Dave Patmore

We are saddened to have learnt of the recent passing of one of our lifelong fans Dave Patmore, here is a short message from Dave Ryan:

Lifelong Blues fan Dave Patmore – who went by the possible unique nickname of Mr Slippy – died on Tuesday.

A Sawbo’ boy, Dave watched Blues from the early 70s, seeing us win at Wembley in both 1974 and 1981, the famous FA Cup run of 82/83 and somehow surviving the carnage that was Bromsgrove in the Clubcall final. Moving from London to be near his family in Derbyshire but still came to watch his team sporadically. 

His ability to find the silliness in any situation will be missed. RIP Mr Slippy.
