Bishop’s Stortford FC Official Statement

The club are aware and extremely disappointed to hear of allegations of racist language used by a Blues ‘supporter’ at the end of Tuesday evening’s game against Cray Wanderers.

The club are assisting the FA and the Police in conducting a full investigation and will take the strongest available action in line with our zero tolerance approach towards racism at the ProKit UK Stadium.

The incident marred a deserved victory for our visitors Cray Wanderers and we offer our fullest apologies to the Cray players, officials and supporters, the match officials and all affected by Tuesday evening’s events.
