Home draw for Blues

Blues will have to wait until Tuesday night to find out who they will play in the Emirates FA Cup second qualifying round, but they have been rewarded for Saturday’s 5-3 win at Dunstable Town with a home draw.

Peterborough Sports will host East Thurrock United on Tuesday with the winners travelling to the ProKit UK Stadium on Saturday September 21.

The two side drew 1-1 in front of a crowd of 161 at Rookery Hill on Saturday.

United are former Conference South rivals of the Blues but suffered relegation last season. They have started the Isthmian League season with three wins and as many draws, sitting on place ahead of Blues in sixth spot,

In contrast, Sports are playing at their highest ever level following promotion last season, and are currently 17th in the Southern League Premier Central Division with six points from as many games.
