Heavy loss for young Blues

BISHOP’S STORTFORD 0, BRENTWOOD TOWN 4
(THE NATIONAL LEAGUE UNDER 19 ALLIANCE – DIVISION C)

The Blues’ Birchwood High School based side never recovered from a disastrous start to this match that saw them three goals down after 17 minutes.
Tom Troubridge headed past Archie Lambert early on and then two defensive errors in as many minutes allowed Troubridge, again, and Jack Dickinson to put the Essex side three goals ahead,
Lambert made a good save on the half hour to stop another goal before the break
Tim Moylette’s side made a better start to the second half but could create few openings and substitute James Lickfold added the final goal in the 90th minute.
