GO AGAIN PRESS RELEASE

Bishop’s Stortford Football Club are pleased to announce a partnership with Go Again Mental Health Consultancy.

Go Again provide mental health support for managers and coaches, provided by mental health professionals alongside professional sports coaches. They offer confidential, fast-response consultancy for sports managers and coaches from grassroots to professional level. The partnership means that BSFC first team and academy players will have holistic support through Go Again.

Robert Broomhead, Founder at Go Again said: “We are delighted that Bishop’s Stortford FC  have signed up to our service which provides professional mental health support to players and staff at non-league level.

We passionately believe that people playing at non-league level should have equal access to psychological support. We believe that by offering a confidential and fast response support service we will make it easier for people to reach out if they are struggling or want advice on how to support someone they are worried about.

We are proud to be working alongside such a progressive and forward thinking football club who recognise the importance of supporting their player’s mental wellbeing and the benefits this can have on their lives off the pitch as well as their performance on it. James Baker and the team clearly have a real  passion in this area and we really look forward to working alongside them”

James Baker, First team player-coach and Academy head coach said: “We are delighted to be able to work with Rob and the team and Go Again well-being. Having worked with them at MiMentor, their passion, knowledge and experience for supporting mental health and well-being in sport, in particular football, at all levels is fantastic.

To be able to provide all players and staff with mental health and well-being support is a great step and aligns to the forward-thinking vision that the board has for the club.”
