Exciting board changes.

Bishop’s Stortford Football Club has today revealed appointments to its Board of Directors as the club looks ahead to a bright future.

The first new face on the board is Kevin Auchoybur. Kevin is an experienced local businessman, with 15 years in boardroom positions, serving public and private sector clients. Kevin is currently Managing Director of stadium sponsors, R&D Advisors UK. He will join the board as Commercial Director and is looking forward to engaging with local businesses and helping with the club’s sponsorship drive.

Kevin is joined by former England & Essex cricketer, Ronnie Irani. Many supporters will already know Ronnie, having worked closely with the board behind the scenes over the last 2 years. Following retirement from cricket, he segued seamlessly into broadcasting, as co-host of Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT, and business, with his revolutionary OrthoSole orthotic insole. Ronnie is also a Director of stadium sponsors, R&D Advisors UK.

We then have Paul Hopkins, who was previously Chairman and Director of Football at Chelmsford City. Paul’s knowledge of non-League football and with his vision of the future of this Club, proves he is an ideal ambassador for the Club. Paul is also the brother of Phil Hopkins, who holds the accolade for the most appearances for the Blues.

Finally, General Manager Shan Toms will take a place on the board. Shan has been with the club for almost a year, running the day to day operations. Shan joined the blues from Chelmsford City, where he helped set up a full-time academy programme. Before that, he spent 2 years at Harlow Town, where he was Head of Football Operations.

Kevin, Ronnie, Paul & Shan join Chairman Ian Kettridge and Directors Steve Smith, Alan Hazell & Mark Warwick.
