Members of the Blues’ Academy were fortunate enough to speak to Armelindo Mema, Hamzad Kargbo and Max Little from Queens Park Rangers, talking about life as a professional footballer and all that it entails.
Our players found the chat very interesting and got a lot from it, as you can see from the quotes below.
“It provided a good insight into the life of a young footballer, I enjoyed hearing about their different backgrounds and how they made it as pro footballers.”
“Amazing way to see how young players have made it into professional sides and what it’s like to be them on a day to day basis as well as hearing what it’s like to be picked to represent your national team.”
Joe Harper Sharp
“Great to see that there is always an opportunity no matter what level or experience you’ve had before hand.”
“It was very interesting and insightful.”
We’d like to thank the QPR players for their time, and the club staff who helped organise the event.
We are recruiting for our Academy for the 2021-22 season, so if you’d like some more information, please email Shan Toms at firstname.lastname@example.org
