Blues travel to leaders

Blues will look for their fourth straight win when they travel to Folkestone Invicta on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
Saturday’s trip to Kent will see Blues facing the Isthmian League leaders, and will provide a tough test against a side who have only dropped two points from their first six league games as well as progressing in the FA Cup with a 4-0 win at Whitstable Town.
The only game Invicta have failed to win saw a surprise 1-1 draw with basement side Leatherhead, with home wins against Worthing and Mertsham along with victories at Cray Wanderers, Potters Bar Town and Horsham.
Folkestone completed a double over Blues last season as they met for the first time, winning 2-0 at home and 1-0 at the ProKit (UK) Stadium, and those two victories were enough to help the Kent side finish one place above Stortford in sixth place.Luke Callander will be available for both games after completing a three game ban following his sending off at Enfield Town in Blues’ second game of the campaign. The striker scored against both Bogor Regis Town and Carshalton Athletic, but Blues have 11 goals and signed Shomari Barnwell in his absence. Stortford will also be hopeful that skipper Sam Robbins will also be available after missing the win at Dunstable due to a virus.
