Blues Legend Donates Famous Shirt

Before the game against Cray Wanderers last Saturday the club were delighted to be presented by legendary goalkeeper Terry Moore with his shirt from the last ever FA Amateur Cup Final, played at Wembley Stadium on 20th April 1974.  The Blues famously took home the trophy that afternoon with a 4-1 victory over Ilford FC.

Moore was in between the sticks again at football’s most famous stadium in 1981, representing the Blues in our 1-0 FA Trophy Final triumph over Sutton Utd.

Terry remains a popular figure with supporters and is regularly at the R&D Advisors UK Stadium to support the Blues.  The shirt will be proudly displayed at the club and we thank Terry for kindly donating this piece of Stortford history.
