Bishop’s Stortford Football Club (Youth) serves the local community by providing footballing opportunities to boys and girls regardless of their ability. The Club was formed, as Bishop’s Stortford Community Football Club (BSCFC) in 2004 following the merger of Bishop’s Stortford Youth FC, Stortford Jets FC, Bishop’s Stortford Swifts and Northolt Juniors. BSCFC achieved status as an F.A. Community Club in 2004 – the highest award that a youth football club can receive.

In 2009 BSCFC changed their name to BSFC (Youth) to reflect the closer affiliation to Bishop’s Stortford FC (BSFC). At present we have over 850 boys and girls playing football on a weekly basis – with the teams ranging from Under 7 through to Under 18. In addition we have two Vets sides.

There are over 90 qualified coaches working within the club – all of whom are required to gain the full approval of all relevant authorities.

BSFC (Youth) are proud to be a ‘true’ community club, and as such are involved with many different and exciting projects within the community i.e. with Hertfordshire Constabulary and Special Needs Schools.

Affiliated to: Hertfordshire County FA (parent affiliation) / Essex County FA.

Members of: Royston Crow League – Cambridgeshire Girls League – Eastern Junior Alliance – Veterans FA – North Essex Veterans League
