They might be making a film about Bromley FC but the Blues put in an action packed performance this afternoon against the league leaders. The Blues looked the stronger at the beginning of the first half but as the half progressed it was Bromley who exerted the greater pressure with 2 goals disallowed for offside. In the second half the Blues commanded the game from the centre of the park and won a penalty but Lewis Carey, between the sticks for Bromley, made a superb save. The Blues kept on pressing and Kyle Vassell was unlucky not to score as the ball hit the cross bar from 4 yards out but bounced the wrong side of the line. The break came in the 65th minute after a cross came in high in to the Bromley goal mouth, Ashley Miller popped up on the right post and deftly tapped in to make it 1-0.
From then on in it was a strong and determined team performance that ensured that all 3 points were staying at the ProKit UK Stadium and that the Blues would move up to 6th in the Skrill South, Bromley dropping to 2nd.
