Midfielder Freddie Moncur has returned for a second loan spell at the ProKit UK Stadium, joining from Leyton Orient for a month.

Moncur had a ten-week spell with the Blues last season before being recalled to the O’s first team squad for their ultimately unsuccessful relegation battle in League 2

The 21-year-old is the son of former Spurs, West Ham, Swindon and Cambridge United midfielder John Moncur and the brother of Colchester United’s George.

Moncur, who had previously been on the books at West Ham, enjoyed a brilliant campaign for the youth team during the 2014-15 season as he amassed an impressive 10 goals as well as contributing with a number of assists. He was handed a one-year deal with the O’s during the summer of 2015 following a successful period as a scholar.fm2

fmThe midfielder’s first-team debut came in September 2015 as a half-time substitute in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy defeat at Luton Town, before making his second appearance in the 6-1 FA Cup victory against Staines Town two months later.
Having featured in the matchday squad on a number of occasions throughout the course of the 2015-16 season, Moncur was rewarded with a new one-year contract in June 2016 and received another one this summer
