Joe’s worldy give Blues the point

Blues came home from one of their long trips this season with all three Vanarama Conference South points following a 1-0 win at Havant & Waterlooville.

Joe Tabiri’s screamer after 34 minutes proved to be the difference as he belted home the rebound after Havant keeper Ryan Young had parried an effort from Rod Young.

Young caused havoc for most of the game on his return to the Blues as Rod Stringer’s team took all three points, but some solid defence kept the hosts at bay in the second half.

Wright, Miller, Herd, Allen, Fitzsimons, Tabiri, Auger (Baker 65), Church, Young (Sykes 83), Suarez, Sellears (Melaugh 80). Unused subs: Anderson, McCall.
