Gosport in town on Tuesday
Blues and Gosport will make their third attempt to play each other at the ProKit UK Stadium on Tuesday, kick-off 7.45pm.
The Hampshire side arrived at Woodside Park in February only to see a deluge force at 2.30pm postponement, while a frozen pitch saw an early call off a fortnight ago.
Both Blues and Borough were relegated from the National League South last season, but while Stortford have stabilised and 11 goals in their last three home games have seen them move up to 19th place and look set to avoid the bottom four, Gosport have endured a torrid season and are in danger of a second straight relegation.
Borough will arrive at the ProKit rock bottom of the Evo-Stik South Premier table with just nine points from 35 games and appear to be in a straight fight with Dunstable Town to avoid the single relegation spot.
They have conceded at least five goals on ten occasions and four in a further four games and have already let in 114 goals.
Boss Alex Pike quit shortly after they had gone out of the FA Cup against Swindon Supermarine and after a brief spell under caretaker Danny Thompson, Mike Catlin took the job.
But a takeover at the Hampshire club saw Pike return only to see Catlin quit when he was informed he was now joint manager.
A brace of goals from Tyrique Hyde and a Mark Hughes strike gave Blues a 3-1 win when they travelled to Privett Park in October.
