kc2Blues’ boss Kevin Watson has strengthened his defence with the addition of goalkeeper Calum Kitscha.

It’s a return to the ProKit (UK) Stadium for the 24-year-old keeper as he was part of Blues’ Academy as a youngster as well as playing for the reserves before joining Histon in 2011.

He made 65 appearances for Histon in Conference North, including several against Stortford, as well as playing once for England C before joining Hayes & Yeading United in the summer of 2014.

He made 21 appearances for Hayes before the following summer saw him join National League  side Cheltenham Town on a one-year deal. On 12 December 2015, Kitscha made his Cheltenham Town debut in their 3-1 FA Trophy victory against Chelmsford City.

Kitscha signed a new one-year deal at Cheltenham following their promotion to the Football League, and on 30 August 2016 he made his debut in competition as the Robins went 2-1 against Blackpool in an EFL Trophy tie.

After being released by the Robins he joined National League South side Welling United, and has now signed for Blues for the remainder of the season and will be in the squad for today’s home game against Frome Town.
