Bromley test for Stringer’s men

Tuesday evening sees Blues return to the ProKit UK Stadium as former skipper Reece Prestige returns with Bromley for a Vanarama Conference South fixture, kick-off 7.45pm.
Big-spending Bromley have started the season well, and despite a surprise 3-0 home loss against Gosport Borough in their last league outing they are fifth in the table with 17 points from ten games. They were without a game on Saturday due to Salisbury’s expulsion from the Conference, but their last game saw them comfortably progress in the FA Cup with a 5-1 home win against Uxbridge.
Last season saw the Blues win 1-0 at home against Bromley on Bank Holiday August Monday before the end-of-season run of 22 games in 50 days saw them through away a 2-0 lead on Easter Monday to lose 3-2 in Kent.
Boss Rod Stringer knows his team will face a difficult test on Tuesday: “Bromley will be tough, they’ve got a decent wage bill and they win more than they lose.

“We’ll see Reece [Prestedge] back against us, he hasn’t had the best of times since joining them in the summer but he’s bound to want to do well against his old club. “They’re a big side with a decent keeper and two big centre halves in Swaine and Adam Bailey-Dennis.”

Normal admission prices apply at the ProKit UK Stadium, with accompanied under-12 getting in free.
