Blues make a point

Blues took a point off big-spending Bromley on Tuesday night with a 1-1 draw at the ProKit UK Stadium, and can consider themselves unlucky not to pick up their second home win of the season.

An excellent cross from Damian Scannell was headed home by Jordan Robertson four minutes before the break to deny Rod Stringer’s team a second home win of the season.

Skipper Anthony Church had given Blues a fifth minute lead when he headed home Sheldon Sellears’ corner for his seven goal of the season.

Keeper Dave Gregory, who returned to the side after missing Saturday’s loss at Hayes & Yeading, brought off a fine late save from Danny Waldren to ensure Blues took a share of the spoils.
